Job Description:

A company is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator I to manage the credentialing process for healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

Complete and review credentialing applications for new hires and additional locations/boards accurately and within established timeframes
Ensure primary source verifications are conducted and maintain updated credentialing databases
Assist in preparation for NCQA audits and manage additional projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
1 or more years of related experience in credentialing
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and credentialing software
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) is a plus
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
