Qualifications As a Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator at
our facility you will be doing an important work for our patients
and our caregivers. You will be joining a team of detail-oriented,
knowledgeable people who are passionate about what they do and who

- In this role:
- You will be responsible for the performance improvement process
of trauma care.
- You will work collaboratively with all Trauma Department staff
to ensure trauma care is reviewed and data is correctly entered
into the registry.
- You will be responsible for planning, designing, delivering and
evaluation of education activities to meet the trauma related needs
of all departments.
- You will participate in performance improvement activities as
directed.
- You will participate in the development and monitoring of
trauma clinical indicators.
- You will act as a consultant, providing expertise in trauma
care to nurses, prehospital providers, other health care
professionals, and the general public.
- You will assist in maintaining the Trauma Registry, which
includes collection of data, participating in data analysis, and
developing action plans in regards to educational needs &
prevention programs.
- You will assist the Trauma Program Director in the development
and implementation of education and prevention activities.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Utah;
Associate's Degree required, BSN preferred.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life
Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life
Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification.
- Must obtain TNCC and ENPC certification within one year from
hire date.
- Experience in teaching and Quality Management.
- Must have effective communication and organizational
skills.
- 5 or more years of clinical nursing experience with
demonstrated expertise in Trauma
- 2+ years of ER or ICU experience required
- TCRN certification strongly preferred For 150 years, has
