In this pivotal role, you will drive the strategic vision and execution of our engineering initiatives, overseeing the development of cutting-edge web applications and backend systems that power our platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the technical roadmap, foster a culture of innovation, and mentor a high-performing engineering team. Your leadership will be instrumental in advancing our mission and delivering exceptional products to our users.What you'll doTechnical Leadership

• Define and implement the engineering vision and roadmap in alignment with Link's overall business objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of software development, including frontend and backend engineering, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality software through robust testing, code reviews, and adherence to industry standards.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to keep our systems at the forefront of industry standards.Team Management and Development
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a diverse engineering team, fostering professional growth and ensuring high engagement and productivity.
  • Recruit and develop top engineering talent to build a high-performing team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the engineering department.Strategic Planning and Execution
    • Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and project prioritization to meet strategic goals.
    • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on our products and services.Cross-Functional Collaboration
      • Work closely with product management, design, and other departments to deliver seamless and user-centric solutions.
      • Communicate technical concepts and project statuses effectively to stakeholders, including executive leadership and non-technical teams.
      • Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the development process.Security and Compliance
        • Implement and maintain security protocols and compliance standards, particularly in identity and access management.
        • Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and reliable, with a focus on data protection and access controls.Quality Assurance and Innovation
          • Advocate for and maintain high standards of code quality and system reliability through comprehensive testing and continuous integration practices.
          • Drive innovation within the team by encouraging the exploration of new technologies and approaches.Qualifications
            • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
            • Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams.
            • Technical Expertise:
            • Deep understanding of scalable architecture, microservices, and serverless computing.
            • Experience with identity and access management and securing large-scale systems.
            • Proven ability to architect, build, and maintain high-performance systems.
            • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, with experience in recruiting and developing top talent.
            • Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical strategies with broader company goals.
            • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative and efficient solutions.
            • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of articulating complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
