Job Description:
A company is looking for a SNF Billing Specialist /
Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SNF reimbursement, including
Medicare and Medicaid
Manage accounts receivable, including follow-up on unpaid balances
and timely billing processes
Assist in the preparation of accounts receivable reports and
participate in compliance programs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting or business-related
field preferred; experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
5 years of billing experience, specifically in SNF Medicare and
Medicaid billing
Knowledge of LTC billing regulations for Medicare and Medicaid
Experience using billing software such as PointClickCare or
MatrixCare
Position subject to Criminal Background Investigation
